Experienced Vessel Welder

About the Position

ARC Energy is looking for an experienced Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team in New Iberia,

Louisiana. Our ASME Section VIII, Division 1 code shop specializes in manufacturing pressure vessels, process equipment, and components for the oil and gas industry.

We are looking for a skilled welder who takes pride in their craftsmanship, values safety and quality, and has experience working in a code-compliant fabrication environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience welding in an ASME Section VIII, Division 1 code shop.

• Proficiency in applicable welding processes, such as TIG, MIG, SMAW, and FCAW.

• Ability to read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and follow ASME code requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fabrication shop environment.

• Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are preferred.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Welding Test Requirement: Candidates selected for consideration must successfully pass a 6G welding test before an offer of employment can be extended.
